Before entering private practice, Caroline served as a law clerk in the New York Attorney General's Law Enforcement Misconduct Investigative Office, a judicial intern for Judge Lawrence E. Kahn of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and a law clerk with the Edward P. Swyer Justice Center. She also served as an executive editor of the Albany Law Review.
